Due to numerous issues with the recent hop harvest, many home brewers have begun to worry that their favorite hops may not be available in the near future.  We have been working closely with our vendors to ensure our supply for the coming year.  Unfortunately, some shoppers have been placing "panic orders" consisting of nothing but large amounts of hops.  This has led to a short term shortage of certain hops that we normally stock.  To prevent this causing an ongoing problem we must limit all hop purchases to a maximum of 10 ounces of a single variety or 20 ounces of mixed varieties, and all hop orders must be accompanied by enough malt extract or grains to brew an equivalent batch of beer.  This will help us insure that we are able to meet all of our brewers' needs throughout the next calendar year.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we appreciate your understanding.
